Who We Are
KINDRED is a six piece band based in Somerset that play our own unique Folk/Rock with a Country twang. With a successful album Our Tomorrow and EP Images that have been downloaded in 26 countries worldwide and the latest EP ‘In the Darkness’ the band is going from strength to strength.
We play in venues across Somerset and beyond.
We play full performances of our own material but also do a great set of covers including;
Blondie, Killers, The Commitments, Daft Punk, Chic, Florence & the Machine, Sister Sledge, DNCE, Alanis Morisette, Kaiser Chiefs, Joss Stone, Ward Thomas, Adele, The Communards, Kings of Leon, Bryan Adams, White Stripes, Black Crowes, Erasure, Stereophonics, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Robbie Williams, Blues Brothers, Mumford, The Zutons/Amy Winehouse, Kim Wilde, No Doubt, Katrina and the Waves and much more!!!
The band set up in late 2015 and have played gigs across Somerset and Devon, including supporting The Wurzels in concert; The Godney Gathering music festival; Home Farm Fest; Top of The Gorge Fest; Tractor Fest Bristol; George and New Inn pubs in Wedmore; King William in Glastonbury; The Arrow and Great Lyde in Yeovil, The Crown in Axbridge; Rooksbridge Wassail event; Cheddar Arts week; The Red Barn in Woolacombe and have been hired for many private functions including Beer festivals.
The band members are;
Ian Scott (Scottie) on Guitars, Michelle Mitchell on vocals, Heidi Neal on vocals, Clive Millar on Drums, Helen Sayer on Keyboards and Ian Anstey on Bass.
